Next weeks challenge: ' 8 June - 12 June
How many rubber bands can you shoot into a shoe box? In the multi purposre room there is a line on the floor for players to stand behind. We have cut a hole in a box and stood it up on a tray table. So fun for any age! The object is to get as many rubber bands into the box in a minute. Even if you don't get any in this is still classed as participation. The more your team gets as a collective is the goal. Here is a video of an example:
Please feel free to come into the MP room to practice at any time during the week................
Good luck teams... Keep up the good work!
Flat Bush forever................
There is only 1 challenge a week so that means it should only be 1 minute of your time once a week!
Thank you for accepting the minute to win it challenges. The objective of these activities are to promote well being, our school values, celebrate all that we have achieved thus far and to come together and have some fun.
We will be working in our school house teams for these challenges. Each team has been allocated team captains. The team captains will collate all of your evidence to show that you have participated in each activity. If you are missing from this list please contact Mr Avatea to put you into a team.
Flat Bush School
Staff Houses 2020
Team captains are:
Kauri= Banapa and Cissy
Kowhai= James and Awhina
Rata= Martha and Turi
Rimu= Maggy and Karen
There is a point system: Points will be collected from all participants and once the team captain has sent through your evidence this will be loaded onto this web page.
Challenges will be posted every Monday and will need to be sent/ recorded in to your captains every Friday by 4pm. This will give you 1 whole week to participate. If you need someone to help you record your video you can ask your captains and set aside time during a break (1 minute is all it takes).There is a challenge for every one so don't stress.
Obviously there will be some teachers who won't be at school or absent so each team is allowed to have 2 people not participate to be fair to other teams. But the more that participate the more points you will gain.
Team colours: Bonus points are given to teams who wear their team colours during the challenge.
