On Monday, Week 9, Term 1, Flat Bush School will be celebrating Diversity Week. On Monday, 31 March market day they will have the opportunity to have a henna tattoo.
Henna is a reddish dye made from the dried, powdered leaves of the henna tree. It is mixed with water to make a paste and this is used to create body art. This is not a permanent tattoo and will only last a few days. At FBS the henna tattoo will be done on the hand.
Should you wish your child/ren NOT to have a henna tattoo please inform the school by replying to the text sent or emailing office@flatbush.school.nz Please make sure to give your child's name and room number.
